What do you do for an official 'Launch' of a website? Do you smash a bottle of champagne against your computer? Maybe not.
Today, Teething SOS goes 'live'. The planning, imagining, devising, talking and testing is done. I have a sense of calm excitement about it now. The late nights and stressing and slaving over a hot computer are done for now. I guess I will now spend my time anxiously watching for the next sale. I'm sure I will nearly burst with pride when posting off the first ecommerce order. Which is why I have a special offer for my first 10 customers - Buy one-Get one FREE. And just because a bird never flew on one wing, Teething SOS would like to help you out this Christmas by giving one lucky person a €40 Voucher for Smyth's Toy store. All you have to do is enter our Photo Competition - send a picture of your little one wearing an Amber Teething Necklace.
Next comes the marketing bit - another learning curve for me. I am really hoping that happy customers will spread the word of this site to other parents. I aim to ensure this by offering quality products at good prices with good service.
I could not have a launch without thanking the people who have helped me along the way. At the begining Cristiona Kiely got me going with some invaluable advice. Louise McDonnell of 2Market steared the ship in the right direction and I could not have done this without the support of Mayo County Enterprise Board. For the enduring patience and great skills and class of Michael and all at ideabubble, a grateful Thank You. And I could not forget Ben for the encouragement, support, patience and management skills.
So raise your glasses to www.teethingsos.com God Bless all who click on her!
Best of luck with your new site Ailish!ReplyDelete
