20c from every unit sold in 2012 went to Charity.

We made a promise to ourselves early in 2012 that if business went well during the year and we reached our targets, we would love to share some of our good fortune with those less fortunate than ourselves.   Well, we totted up our figures for 2012 recently and it gave us great great pleasure to be able to write a few cheques for some causes close to our hearts.  The figure we arrived at equates to 20c for every unit sold throughout the year.

We had a bit of difficulty choosing our charities - there are so many good causes out there.  But it stood to reason that with babies being at the heart of our business, that charities that help babies and children sould be the beneficiaries. And rather than give it all to one charity, we decided to share it.  So we choose 2 Irish charities and 2 operating outside Ireland.  The beneficiaries are:

Jack and Jill Foundation
Make a Wish Ireland
Unicef
Chernobyl Children International
